Upgraded Tanker Loading System – After Installation

The completed stainless steel pipework and tanker loading system provided a clean, organized, and efficient setup for the client’s oil filtration site in Ellesmere Port. All the pipe welding was completed in our Birkenhead workshop. With the new rigid pipework, pump, and flowmeter in place, operators can now accurately control the flow of oil, reducing the risk of spillages and product loss. The addition of a fixed tanker loading arm has significantly improved ease of use and safety, eliminating the need for leaking flexible hoses. This upgrade has streamlined operations, ensuring a more reliable and efficient loading process.

Tanker Loading System – Before Upgrade

Before our installation, the site's tanker loading system relied on flexible hoses, which were prone to leaks, spills, and inefficiencies. Operators had to manually handle the hoses, increasing the risk of product loss and contamination. The lack of a fixed system made the process slower, less precise, and more physically demanding. Without a dedicated pump and flowmeter, accurately measuring and controlling oil flow was challenging, leading to inconsistencies in loading operations. This setup highlighted the need for a more robust and reliable solution to improve efficiency and safety.
