Refractory Anchor Welding – Ellesmere Port

The inside of an industrial or construction space with black walls, fluorescent lighting, scaffolding, pipes, and electrical wiring. There is a metal ladder and a bright light on the floor, with annotated notes on the wall.

Refractory Anchor Welding – Ellesmere Port

For a large industrial incinerator, we provided precision refractory anchor welding to secure the high-temperature lining. Once installed, the refractory would bring the total weight of the incinerator to nearly 40 tonnes, requiring strong, durable anchoring to withstand extreme conditions. Our expert on-site welding ensured structural integrity, preventing refractory failure and extending the operational lifespan of the system.

End Piece Anchor Welding – Precast Installation

In addition to the main structure, we welded refractory anchors onto a separate end piece, designed to be bolted onto the incinerator after the refractory was cast and delivered to the site. This component required precise anchor placement to ensure a secure fit and even distribution of the lining material. Our work provided the client with a robust, high-quality foundation for the refractory, guaranteeing long-term performance and reliability once the incinerator was fully assembled.
